Right now, as I type this, stripers are absolutely busting in the Canal. I have not seen so many big striped bass caught since the last time I witnessed a blitz here two years ago. The entire shoreline was packed with fishermen, practically elbow to elbow, each casting upstream and reeling in synchronously to avoid crossing lines as their lures pushed downstream.
