Two days ago the water was like glass at the dam, and the trout were slamming bugs, but I didn't have my fly rod. Today the weatherman said there would be a 9mph northwest wind, but it felt stronger than that, and the water was choppy, so I tried wet flies. It was skunk city. I walked through Warren Woods to get to the reservoir, in total hiking over 8 beauteous miles today.
