Swift River, Belchertown, MA, 8/11/2016

With the real feel temperature at 102° I decide to wade in the consistently cool tailwaters of the Swift. The river draws water from 70 feet below the surface of the Quabbin Reservoir. Being in the current here is like standing in front of an open refrigerator. Plus there are always big trout in sight, but they are educated.
