Manchester Street Power Plant, Providence, RI, 2/25/2019
The power plant heats water, turning it into steam that spins the turbines to generate electricity. The steam is then condensed. Warm water is dumped into the Providence River through the plant outflow. This attracts holdover stripers and fishermen. Two months from now this place will be like the Roger Williams Zoo. Today it was cold with 50mph wind gusts. I caught nothing but had the place to myself.
