Another goto lure. Weedless if equipt with a weed guard or if a shaky head jig. Goes shallow or deep. Good to sweep an area quickly for an active bite. Let it sit between reels, bounce it off the bottom, or slow reel it. The weight will help keep your line tight. I use a lead free 1/4 ounce jig with a black skirt. You can use it skirtless too. Tie on with an improved clinch knot. A trailer gets rigged on the hook shank. If you are using the shaky head jig the hook point gets buried in the plastic just like the Texas rig.
For trailers I use Yamamoto Swim Senkos or any other soft plastic from the soft plastic page. Once it gets torn up just cut a 1/2 inch off of the top and recycle it.
